Position Overview

The clinical applications coordinator will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and providing clinical staff training on the various medical software system in use at SVT Health & Wellness. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a diverse array of software programs, a skilled instructor, and able to work with diverse teams to solve clinical application problems that often require both workflow and software revisions. This position also provides leadership for the EHR committee. Additional specific duties will include:

Coordinate with our software vendors to solve technical issue, implement new features, and manage program updates,

Provide system configuration and training for new staff on software use and clinical workflows,

Develop workflow and software training materials consistent with our policies and procedures for clinical staff,

Work with the clinic director, QI/QA analyst, and the IT director to implement and maintain workflows and data collection mechanisms to maintain our PCMH certification and meet other clinical quality standards,

Supervise the integration and deployment of new clinical software systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical application support and feature implementation: 30%

Development of training materials: 20%

Workflow development and documentation: 20%

New staff training and orientations: 10%

EHR Committee and associated tasks: 10%

Policy and procedure development and revision: 10%

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent blend of education and experience.

Three years of experience in a clinical setting that required knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Electronic health record systems.

Experience using and administering complex software systems.

Basic knowledge of database structures, queries, and elements.

Experience as a trainer or educator.

Work Environment
